“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” ― Rumi

I believe in holistic healing and a mind-body connection.  I use a diverse approach to therapy including EMDR, mindfulness, meditation, EFT (tapping), hypnosis, ecotherapy and CBT. I commit to using the method that works best for you, as we are all unique. I am also a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP) which is a whole body approach that includes a collaboration across disciplines.

I specialize in working with stress, anxiety disorders, and trauma. I believe that through self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-love we can strengthen and grow the relationships in our lives and within ourselves.

I understand that the patterns are wired so deep in our nervous system that even when we consciously want to change how we show up it can feel impossible. Even if we’re aware of the pattern and we truly want to change it, we might still find ourselves repeating the same old dance. Shifting our patterns is incredibly deep work. It happens over time and with help. It requires tons of self-compassion, a willingness to try new things, and body awareness. I would like to support you on this journey, to be your partner in deep imagining, and into the world, you want to create.

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” — Mary Oliver

Hello! I am a sex-positive, poly and kink friendly-affirmative counselor, specializing in relationships and an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community in Austin, Texas.  I am passionate about challenging societal norms around mental health and helping individuals navigate through obstacles within relationships. I provide a genuine, affirming space for you to be just as you are, helping reconnect you with your own curiosity, values and desires. I offer my deep respect and support, collaborating with you on this path of exploration, healing and growth.

I enjoy helping people navigate depression, lower anxiety, reduce stress, change the way they approach and interact with relationships, examine sexuality, build self compassion and improve self-esteem, brave parenting challenges, heal from trauma, and rebuild with grief and life transitions.

My clients and their families have described me as compassionate, collaborative, deeply curious, creative, and a big goofball when appropriate. Therapy is hard work- humor can be very powerful in helping us cope with vulnerability and distress, and I have seen laughter be a beautiful part of the therapeutic process. I enjoy helping others find balance with relationships and parenting. It would be an honor to work towards building more joy, authenticity and mastery in your life.

“Today, our sexuality is an open-ended personal project; it is part of who we are, an identity, and no longer merely something we do.” — Esther Perel
